THRIFT STORES:

I went the other day and ended up getting 4 books.

3.)When god was a woman
4.)Mary Queen of Scots Now the version I have is actually a hardback copy printed in 1969. The one linked is newer re print because I could not find the one I have.
I also got a copy of the Sex Pistols Buried Alive Documentary. When I looked it up online I could only find one date for when it was made, 1969. All the other sites had ??? for the year, hmmmm... There is no actual date on the tape itself.
I didn't get any clothes this time, heh imagine that.
WALKIE PHONES:

RANT
So I realized I have not done an actual rant in a long while and I feel I am due.
I have come to the conclusion today while running around to different stores etc that driving tests should no longer be done on obstacle courses at your local DMV like mine was, no they should be given at Wal*Mart. If you can drive though a Wal*Mart parking area and manage not to take anyone out you are gifted!
Here is your Wal*Mart Parking Lot obstacle list.
[x] Cars Pulling out of spaces not looking if anyone is behind them.
[x] Cars whos drivers have their heads up their own asses in general.
[x] Skateboarders that indeed cannot actually skate but try to and end up hurdling in front of your automobile.
[x] Small children that are not being watched by their parents because they are too busy eating their Big Mac because thats right Wal*mart has now swallowed Mc Donalds.
[x] Old people that cannot see their feet nonetheless your vehicle.
[x] Renegade carts.
[x] People wandering around on cell phones.
[x] Disgruntled employees with rifles.
[x] "Special" people.
[x] The idiots that drive ass slow blasting their system that sounds like shit anyway.
[x] Crack Whores searching the parking lot for their dropped rocks.
I am sure there are many more and I will make sure to update the list as I see them.

I had to call out of work today.. My lil munchkin is sick :(
I think it's just a cold becasue we had a big temperature drop the past few days here and I myself am a little stuffy but I don't take any chances with him especially if he is having some troubles breathing...
I got the package my dad sent for him in the mail the other day so I plan on working with him with his new Leap Pad today. My dad sent him the Leap pad plus writting and a cool spiderman leap pad book.. Trent had the my first leap pads but they started to bore him so we advanced him to the other one that he should really not even be using till he is 5 but why hold him back when he is progressing.

They should call my house a damn animal rescue center. I am just glad that I have the space to help these lil guys...
Meet Hercules
He is a 13 year old (human years) Pit Bull mixed with German Shepard.
He was used for fighing in his earler years until my next door neighbor rescued him and shes had him for the past 6 years.
She recently moved to GA and could not take him, she was worried about moving with him being so old and blah blah blah so she left him with the family on the other side of me because she thought they would take good care of him and the kids over there wanted him, by kids I mean 16 and 18 year olds.
They kept Herc chained up in the back yard and I just noticed how unhappy he was and how he hardly ever got fed and never had any water so I started to take him over some things to drink and eat at night and I called my old neighbor in GA and told her so she called them and bitched them out and they said they would take better care of him.
On Sunday the day of the Hurricane when we got home there were still some pretty big winds about 50mph but nothing too bad and we noticed that Herc was STILL chained up on their tree and they were no where to be found. Those assholes kept that dog tied to a damn tree in a hurricane!!! A gust of wind could have picked him up and wraped him around that tree or the damn tree could have fell on him.. With it still raining and the winds still ripping we took Herc of the chain and put him in our shed for shelter.
A day went by and they didn't even come looking for the dog.. I called my old neighbor again and she was pissed and I told her that I would be taking the dog and she agreed and I told her to tell them if they have any problems with that that I have pics on my disposable camera of that dog chained to that tree in the storm and I would glading give those to whomever could prosecute them for animal cruelty.
So on an end note Herc is looking better and his attitude has changed drasticly!
He guards our house like a mad man LOL.
He is so loving to me and my hubby and even with Trent... Trent was sitting outside with him and OX (my puppy) came running up and jumped on Trent and Herc barked his head off at him.
So I guess we have another member of the family.. So I now have 2 cats and 2 dogs.

My husband came home today with this beautiful handpainted musical jewerly box from Japan. He picked it up from the thrift store because when he saw it he said he just knew I would love it...
Isn't it pretty, I love the little doll on the inside it is carved from wood and hand painted.

Yesterday was crazy crazy crazy!!!
I went into work at 9am, didn't watch the news or anything before I left. At around 11am my neighbor next door comes in flipping out! Telling me the hurricane is a cat 5 headed right to us all this other shit got me all worried in a panic attack I had to go on break sit down and have a drink.
I ended up getting off early and the both of us went and rented the last storage bin in the city so that we could store some of our most valuable shit in there and so I could park the Mustang in there out of harms way, it's not tagged yet so I cant drive it away. The storage bin is built a lot stronger the both our old old houses. The only thing I am worried about are thieves if our door or something does blow off of the bin.
After my Husband got home we decided we wanted to go see Resident Evil. We got to the movie and waited 20 minutes in line to get in but we did get a good seat. All I can say is zombies are teh sekzors! Milla was awesome in the movie too <3
For some reason I still liked the 1st one better but this one was good too and it set it up at the end for another sequal.
I found another pet peve while in the movie theatre PEOPLE WITH CELL PHONES!!! Every 2 minutes someone was fucking with their damn phone and all these little blue lights in the theatre were lighting up and it was highly distracting. BLARGH!
After the movie we were going to get gas and there was NONE!!! 711, Hess and all the small gas stations all had bags on the pump handles saying out of service! This Hurricane is not supposed to even hit us till Tuesday and we are already out of gas!! WTF! Our truck was on E and we road home on damn fumes. When I got home we had to syphon gas from the Mustang to the truck, the stang dosen't need it cause she is not ready for the road yet. It got us a 1/4 tank which is better then nothing. Now today I need to drive further up north to see if we can find some stations with gas.
ALl these Hurricanes are Bullshit, I hate FL I want to move back up north!

Payday woot woot!
I bought my son that 18 inch tall spiderman with 67 points
of articulation, he loves it.. He saw me bring it inside
and just started to giggle, he loves his Spiderman.
I went and I got Burnout
3 and The Punisher DVD, I still haven't watched it. I
am going to be up late tonight playing the new game and
working on my site some... I can barly keep my eyes open as
it is.
This new Hurricane is really freaking me out.. Ivan is
already a cat 4, it was a 5 but went down again.. We are
getting way too many Hurricanes.. I have lived in Florida
for about 3 years, my first 2 years we had no hurricanes
now this year we have already had 3 in a months time.. It's
freaky.
Thats it for now....

Ugh, this has got to be the most agonizing hurricane ever! Why must it move so slow.
Saturday I was off work and I spent the whole day getting our house ready for this storm. I bought 3 packs of tape so I can do all the windows, I put all of Trent's yard toys in the shed, Moved the cars behind the house so nothing would fly across the yard and hit them, Bought tons of Water and hurricane munchies, got some Ice and a cooler and did some other crap I am sure.
We spent saturday night just waiting for this BS playing playstation and then watching the Weather Channel. We didn't get any rain on Saturday at all the sky just started to look funky and then My husband called me outside and I saw one of the most beautiful rainbows I have ever seen, it was perfect! I took some pics of it but it was right over us and so damn big I couldn't get the whole thing in a pic.
  
I have never seen one like that before, the ones I saw were always tiny and broken up.
Sunday finally came it started to get real windy and we were without power off and on for a lot of the day. Everything was closed but it really wasn't that bad, it was like a typical afternoon Florida summer storm all day. The wind gusts however blew my across the street neighbor's roof off, my next door neighbors roof off and busted some of her windows and 2 houses down blew a tree over, Luckily nothing on my home was damaged we have a few downed tree limbs and thats about it. I walked out my door at around noon and I saw my neighbor flying a damn kite wearing a trash bag dress... WTF?
I spent most of the day with my Husband and the couple next door playing Trivial Pursuit and other BS waiting for this damn thing to actually get here and it didn't finally get over top of us till maybe 9pm that night.
At prolly about 6pm we were all hungry as hell so we started to call around and see if anything was open and nothing was EXCEPT New China, they were out of power but still open. We get there and they are all cooking off of propane and they just have the registers jacked open but damn it was so fucking hot in there most people were waiting outside. I can only imagine how much money they made being the only place in town open. Oh I'm up there in my PJ's no makeup on and my hair all funked up but eh who cares I wasn't entering the Miss Hurricane pageant that day.
Anyways I enjoyed my chinese food very very much! I don't think I ever enjoyed it that much.
So at 9pm last night the hurricane was right over us and it still wasn't that bad, it didn't start to get bad until it went over us and we got the back end of it. My power was going on and off all last night and this morning when I woke up it was off and my whole yard and road was flooded. I called work and they said they are closed today until further notice. Now I am just sitting here watching all this rain hit us and it's really windy now.
You can barly see out my window right now and I went outside to take a picture and it will hardly show up.
My poor animals are all freaking out, they hate storms.
Well I guess I am going to get off here because the wind is picking up again and it's making my power kick in and out....

So I just busted my ass hardcore!
I have not skated or done anything like that for damn like 5 or 6 years and I finally picked my board back up and decided to go back outside and give it a go and I fell the fuck right off. Damn I suck! I am now not wanting to go back out because I fell and I am thinking to myself when did I become such a wuss I mean what am I so afraid of a few bumps, scrapes and cuts on my exterior eh big deal. When I started BMXing recently after a few years it took me awhile but now I have the hang of it again so I need to just stick with it and I will get my groove back on it...
